We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer with a strong focus on visual identity and a solid understanding of User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Design to join our dynamic team at Noble Pixels.
This part-time, hybrid role is based in Toronto, ON, offering the flexibility of remote work combined with in-office collaboration. As a Lead Graphic Designer at Noble Pixels, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identities of our clients and enhancing the user experience across the digital platforms and products our work touches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Identity Development: Collaborate with clients and our internal team to create and refine visual identities that align with each client’s vision, mission, and target audience.
- UI/UX Design: Work closely with our UI and UX design team to incorporate brand identity into digital products, ensuring that the end results are functional, user-friendly, and visually cohesive. An understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first methodology is essential for this role.
- Visual Communication: Design visually stunning graphics and marketing materials that tell a brand’s story, ensuring consistency across all platforms, including digital, print, and social media.
- Logo Design: Craft impactful logos that are bold, creative, and effectively represent our clients’ brand identities.
- Typography: Apply critical expertise in typography to enhance the readability and aesthetic appeal of branding materials, ensuring that all text elements contribute to the overall brand message.
- Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with product development team members to integrate branding and UI/UX elements into websites, apps, and other digital products, ensuring a seamless and cohesive user experience that aligns with product goals.
- Digital Product Design: Tackle various mobile and wearable design challenges, ensuring that digital products perform optimally on mobile devices before scaling up to larger screens.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their branding and UI/UX needs, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback to ensure the final product meets their expectations.
Qualifications:
- Strong skills in Graphics, Graphic Design, Logo Design, UI/UX Design, Branding, and UED with a portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in visual identity and user experience.
- Typography expertise with a keen eye for detail in font selection and application.
- Strong Visualization Skills that allow you to translate concepts into compelling visual and user-centered designs.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and UI/UX tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience in applying mobile-first methodologies in design processes.
- Degree or Certification in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, or a related field.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in Digital Product Development is a plus, with the ability to integrate branding and UI/UX into digital platforms.
- A passion for creating intuitive and user-friendly designs that enhance the overall user experience.
